Seven Years Of Advancing Innovation In Egypt

Tatweer Misr has launched the seventh edition of its Innovation Competition in partnership with Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards (EEA), continuing its long-term commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, technology, and future-focused urban development across Egypt.

The competition welcomes innovators at every stage, from early ideas to scaling startups operating for up to eight years. This year’s edition offers more than EGP 2 million in financial and technical support, alongside mentorship, fellowship opportunities, and access to industry experts and implementation environments.

Focused on the future of smart communities and sustainable living, the competition highlights three major tracks: Deep PropTech & Data Intelligence, Property Operations & Urban Management, and Experiential Design, Wellness & Sustainability. The initiative aims to encourage solutions capable of improving how cities, buildings, and communities function while enhancing resident experiences and operational efficiency.

What continues to distinguish the platform is its practical industry connection. Beyond funding, selected startups gain opportunities to test and refine their solutions within real development environments connected to Tatweer Misr’s projects. For early-stage ventures, access to implementation and market exposure can be as valuable as investment itself.

The partnership with Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards has further strengthened the competition’s reach across the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, connecting founders with networks, mentorship, and visibility that extend beyond the competition period.

Winning participants will also receive international exposure through sponsored participation in leading global technology events, including London Tech Week and GITEX. As the initiative enters its seventh edition, it reflects a growing emphasis on creating sustainable pathways between innovation, technology, and real-world industry impact within Egypt’s evolving startup landscape.
