Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group, has partnered with Canadian University Dubai (CUD) to support emerging design talent.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, d3 and CUD’s School of Architecture and Interior Design will organize annual events, exhibitions and workshops at the district. The agreement also creates internship opportunities for CUD students with companies based at d3, helping them gain practical industry experience.
The partnership builds on their previous collaboration. This collaboration brought CUD’s 2026 graduating student’s architecture and interior design projects to d3 through the “Designing Futures” exhibition.
The initiative strengthens design education and industry links. It nurtures emerging talent. It supports Dubai’s aim to become a global design hub under the Design Sector Strategy 2033.
