Egyptian edtech company UMAMI E-Learning Solutions has launched its Learning Operating System (LOS™), an AI-powered learning platform designed to connect education, skills development, workforce readiness, performance and institutional decision-making within a single system.
The new AI learning infrastructure is backed by a phased investment plan exceeding EGP 50 million ($1 million). The funding will support the development and rollout of LOS™ as UMAMI expands its digital learning and workforce development solutions across Egypt and the wider MENA region.
Founded in 2019 by Ahmed Seif El-Din, UMAMI provides digital learning solutions for governments, educational institutions and enterprises. The company has supported large-scale learning and workforce development initiatives across more than 35 countries.
LOS™ aims to help organizations move beyond traditional learning management systems by connecting learning and skills data with measurable workforce and organizational outcomes. The platform is designed for use across education, healthcare, technical and vocational training, and corporate environments.
The launch follows UMAMI’s recognition under Egypt’s Startup Charter, through which it received the official Startup Label Certificate. The company was also named among the 2026 Top 100 Entrepreneurs in Africa by African Business Heroes, strengthening its position in the African and regional edtech market.
