Fasset Hits $1B Valuation After $68Mln in Series C

Fasset has officially reached unicorn status after securing a $1 billion valuation following a $68 million Series C funding round led by SBI Group. The latest investment brings the financial technology company’s total funding raised in 2026 to $119 million.

The new funding will support Fasset’s global expansion, with a particular focus on Own Network, its regulated financial infrastructure designed to connect banks, telecommunications companies, payment providers, liquidity providers and other financial institutions across international markets.

Fasset also plans to increase investment in agentic artificial intelligence systems supporting corridor banking, stablecoin settlement and tokenised asset infrastructure.

Fasset Expands Own Network Across Global Banking Corridors

Own Network lies at the core of Fasset’s strategy. It links fragmented financial systems and supports cross-border settlement across over 100 banking corridors.

The infrastructure connects banking institutions, payment providers, telecommunications companies, liquidity providers, custody partners and settlement networks. Stablecoins serve as settlement infrastructure across parts of the network. Customers can access Fasset’s financial products without directly interacting with the settlement technology.

Through its platform, users can receive, hold, transfer, spend and invest across different currencies, markets and asset classes.

AI Powers Fasset’s Cross-Border Payment Infrastructure

Fasset is also expanding its use of artificial intelligence to improve transaction routing across international payment networks.

The company’s AI systems are designed to assess factors including cost, transaction speed, liquidity availability and settlement methods when determining how transactions should be routed across different payment rails and currencies.

The Series C investment further strengthens Fasset’s relationship with SBI Group, which has investments spanning banking, securities, asset management and private equity.

SBI Group has also invested in digital finance companies including Ripple, Circle and Morpho. Its broader financial ecosystem includes B2C2 and SBI Remit.
